This was my first attempt at chocolate pie. It's so rich and creamy! Loved it!
9in Pie - Serves 8
1 Refrigerated Pie Crust
1 1/2 cups Sugar
3 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa
1/4 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
2 Eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 tsp Salt
5.5 oz Evaporated Milk
1) Fit crust into 9in pie pan. Crimp the edges and prick the bottom and sides.
2) Preheat oven to 350.
3) Mix sugar, cocoa, and butter in a mixing bowl. Add eggs and beat with a mixer for 3 minutes.
4) Add salt, milk, and vanilla and beat just until mixed.
5) Pour filling into shell and bake 35-45 minutes or until edges are brown and filling is slightly set in the middle.
6) Cool completely before serving. Refrigerate leftovers. Enjoy!
